Introduction

Our Self Catering Holiday Cottage covers 2 floors and is conveniently located in the Rutland Water village of  Empingham.  We have tried to provide as much information as we can, if you have any queries please do no hesitate to call.

Pre-Arrival

•    The nearest bus stop is located approx 150 metres from the Cottage,

•    The nearest train station Oakham, approximately 5 miles and there are accessible taxis at the station

•    We can arrange for information in large print if required

 

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

•    There is on-site parking to the front of the property at the side of the  “Two Hoots” sign, you can park directly outside the front door to unload baggage if needed

•     The entrance at the front has one step - 14cm high, the door is hinged to the right, the height to the door lock is 1.1 metres and the width of the door is 1 metre

 

Public Areas - General (Internal)

• The entrance leads into the kitchen and open plan living area.  A small open-plan hallway leading to ground floor double bedroom and step free wet room. There is a stairway to the first floor Galleried Twin Bedroom.  Height of each stair is 20cm with a depth of 24cm.  There are 11 steps to the landing where there is one further step to the bedroom. The width of the stairway is 76cm with the handrail to the left and right 1 metre high

 

Outdoor Facilities

• Small courtyard garden with patio table and 4 chairs, flooring is loose stones and slabs accessed from double doors in the lounge area, level entrance
